Christmas 2009

It is hard to believe that Christmas has already come and gone! I can't believe it! We had a really fun year though! For Christmas Eve we always go to my parents and have a smorgasbord of food! Just to prove to you how much food we have take a look!
Here we have turkey, ham, funeral potatoes, little smokies, and meat balls!
Here we have an assortment of dips, fruit, veggies, and yummy jalapeno poppers (I made them myself and suggest you do the same. It is about as close to heaven as you can get! Enjoy the next picture for a close up!)
Do you see up close how delicious they are?!
And of course what would we do without my brother Chris and his AMAZING deserts! I'm telling you it is both a blessing and curse having a brother as a pastry chef!

We also started a new tradition last year where we do a white elephant gift exchange. For anyone who knows my family you can only guess some of the white elephants that we got!
Sue got Victorias "Big" Seceret panties
Sue made this awesome Fitch family calender!
I think she captured Steve-o (my youngest brother) perfectly!
Ryan got the Italian fishing lure (from my dad of course!)
I made the "Breath Right Butt Strip"
Somehow Chris and Bub (my brothers) managed to buy these sculptures from the same artist! Steve-O got this one that Bub nicknamed the buttercup!
And Bub got this freaky vase from Chris that I don't really know what to say about it except keep it away from me so I don't have nightmares!
I guess Brothers just think alike!

Of course we all got pj's from Santa too! (How does Santa do it every year?) Anyways we had a blast! We really wanted to spend Christmas eve with both families this year so we left my parents early and went to Ry's. We just hung out and watched a movie and it was VERY nice and relaxing! I am so glad that Ryan and I get along really well with BOTH families!

Christmas day we went to have breakfast with Ryan's parents! Ryan's dad makes the best french toast! They also gave us the perfect gift! A shop vac. We seriously needed it!

All in all Christmas was a blast! I hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas too!

Introducing...Mary Anna Fitch

My new little niece was born last Sunday the 13th of December! I already just love her so much and can't wait for my little one to be born! I hope they get along well! I forget how small new little babies are, but then look at them and think "how on earth did they fit in someones belly!" Emma (Mary Anna's older sister) loves her so much, but still demands that her name be "Dora" instead and every time you call the baby Mary Anna she says "I just hate that name!"

I wish I had more time available so I could go visit more often! I am just a little bit baby crazy right now!

12 weeks ultrasound!

So here are my pics from my 12 week ultrasound! (I had if a little over a week ago) It was so amazing! Ryan and I were so nervous because the last 12 week ultrasound we had they couldn't find the heartbeat! So we were holding our breath at this one but as soon as the nurse put the Doppler (I think that is what it is called) on my belly the baby jumped! I was so so happy to see that my little angel is safe inside me and kicking and jumping in my belly! Ryan and I are so happy and excited! I cant wait till June for all of you to meet or precious baby too!

I am usually not good at finding the baby in these photos, but I think it is pretty easy to see where its head is and if you look closer you can even see the nose!

This pic is as if you are looking down at it from the top of the head. You can see its arm on the left!

Modbe going out of buisness sale

My sister in law sale's Modbe and unfortunately with the way the economy is going even though they have great products and all, they are going out of business. So if anyone would like to buy from her just click on this link www.modbeclothing.com/aemilee to go to her account and purchase. I have purchased many Modbe items over the past year and a half and can honestly say that they last!

(the link wasn't working yesterday but I fixed it. You should be able to navigate away from this page.)

Watch My Belly Grow!

So a while back I had posted a little thing on weight loss called "Watch My Belly Go" (which didn't really work) But now the tables have turned and you can "WATCH MY BELLY GROW!" That's right people! I am PREGNANT! I am due in June (only 8 1/2 weeks right now). We kind of announced a little early. We really wanted to wait till Christmas but the cat was let out of the bag a little early. (We had kind of a scare however everything is good now!). Plus a lady in my ward sort of mentioned it in ward council and now the whole ward knows! I couldn't have my whole ward knowing without my close friends and family knowing first! So anyways we are very excited and can't wait to meet our little angle!

Love this Boutique!

I LOVE going to this boutique! It is only twice a year (spring and fall) and it is held in an extremely large home up in the hills of Farmington. It is called Piper and Chloe. They have such cute (all hand made) items. And TONS of cute little things for your kiddos! Everyone should check it out! Click here to visit their blog for directions.
BTW it is this weekend the 6th and 7th only!

Halloween 2009

This year Halloween was so fun! (I actually dressed up!) I used to love to dress up for Halloween but the last few years it has kind of been an uninteresting thing for me. Luckily I had a great work party that encouraged me to do it and I think the spirit of Halloween has come back in my life!
I am the "Rocker Chic" on the upper right.

Ryan and I are also on the ward activities committee and had to help with the ward "Trunk or Treat". My beehives were in charge of a corner in the spook ally and decided they wanted to do "scary 80's" so I did their makeup and made them look somewhat zombie like and it also helped inspire me for my costume this year!

Ryan also dressed up as a nerd again, but he looked really great and I thought we made a pretty great couple don't you think?
BTW Don't ask me why I am doing a rocker sign in EVERY picture because I don't know myself!

Halloween night we went to my brothers house up in Roy and had my moms famous chili and my sister in law sues AMAZING bread sticks! Yum! We usually have a tradition where we watch young Frankenstein every year but this year we switched it up and watched the Changeling (the old 70's one not the new). I tried to take a picture of my niece and nephew in their costumes, but by the time they got done trick or treating they were ready to be out of their costumes. (Aiden was a grim reaper and Emma was Bell!) Oh well! It was still a fun night! Hope everyone else had a great Halloween too!

Update

Man, have I ever been a slacker lately at keeping up on my blog! Life has been pretty busy around the Page house hold! Here is what has been going on.
1. I am working full time as an instructor at the school I graduated from and love every minute of it! (The very busy part!)
2. Ryan is still working at Hogan (which I also love!) and just finished his first Estimating project and it went through! Yay! Little by little he is getting more of his own responsibilities at work! (this is a very good thing, but also the very busy part!)
3.Ryan is back in school which is not very fun but hey it has to be done! (Also the every busy part!)
4.My sister in-law Sue is prego! Yay we are all so excited! We are even more shocked that she just told us about it 2 weeks ago and that she was 26 weeks along (they thought it would be funny to see if anyone would say anything)! She is having a little girl and my niece and nephew are way excited! Apparently Emma wants to name her Dora (too cute). (This is not part of the busy part but the really fun part!)
5.Ryan and I had a very fun conference weekend (which I LOVED Elder Uchtdorf's talk by the way!). We headed down to St. George because Ryans dad competed in the World Senior Olympics! He threw the javelin (he used to throw it in college!) and he won
2ND place for his age group! We are so proud of him! It was a really fun weekend! Here are some pics!

So that is what has been going on for the past month. I promise that I will try and keep this blogging thing up to date more often! sorry guys!

Microdermabrasion Parties!

Ok, so I am not normally the kind of person to advertise on my blog, but...I just purchased a medical grade microdermabrasion machine from my wonderful cousin (thanks again McCall!). This machine is AMAZING! (Microdermabrasion is a form of mechanical exfoliation that helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, age spots/sun damage, temporally reduce pore size, help with t-zone oiliness, help even out skin tone etc...) I would like to start throwing Micro Parties where I bring all of my equipment to your house and only charge $35 a treatment plus the host gets their treatment for free! Treatments in a medical spa or dermatologist office can range from $60 up to $200 a treatment! I am also going to offer an all day micro party (Saturdays only) for $60 which includes me offering a mask and hand and arm or shoulder massage. If anyone is interested in hosting a party please email me at finefish18@yahoo.com and be sure to put Micro Party in the subject line.

Thanks Y'all!

Emily

Twin Lakes/Toms Cabin 2009

It has been a couple of weeks since I have been back, but it seems like time just takes us all and life just gets so busy! Our poor dog Brook had to have surgery! When my brother was petting her on her belly he found a preety good size lump on one of her back breast! (his dog had just passed away a few months ago of breast cancer so we decided we better check it out!)So we took her to the vet the next day and the Dr. was preety concered about it because of the location and the size. (Also it was not their for sure a couple of weeks ago)So he recommened we take it out and we also decided to go ahead and have her spayed at the same time of the surgery. We really wanted her to have a litter of puppies and had a lot of people already ready to buy a pup from her, but if it was a cancerous tumor (which we sent it off to have it biopsied to make sure it isn't,and we will find out by monday if it is I think) then we would have to have her spayed anyways and it sounds like it most likely is. so will all the recent and crazy events, I am finally posting from our last vacation! We had a lot of fun this year with Ryans family.

We did our traditional trip of water skiing at twin lakes and then went to his uncle's cabin up in the Uintas. We got to take Brook with us camping at the lake and I think she probably resembled more of a fish than an actuall dog while we were their! I think about 99% of the time she was in the water. The first day she would start to swim after the boat when one of us took off from the shore! And another good event occured while we were their! READY FOR THIS! I FINALLY GOT UP ON THE SLOLUM SKI AND STAYED UP! I can now say I am officially part of the Page family! Since I have a picture overload from this trip, I decided to make a slide show of the picutres, so here they are! Enjoy!

We Had Fun!

Last Monday Ry and I took the day off and went water skiing with his family. His sister Emilee was in town so we got up real early and drove to Pine View reservoir. The water was so warm, it was about 78 degrees! The reservior was so full that we were lucky to get any beach! We had lots of fun though, and can't wait to go next week for 3 whole days!

This is like the only pic of me. I am much better at wake bording then slolum (sp?) skiing. Unfortunatly we only got one pic of me and I am plugging my nose because I know I am going to fall!

This is my father in law mark. He is so good at cutting!

This is a flex board, it helps kids learn to ski! It is soo cool! I wish I had this when I was little!

This fun log was on our beach. The water was just deep enough that we could jump off it and not hit the bottom! Ryans Dad looks like he is walking on water!

I can't forget my sexy man! Poor Ry couldn't ski at all because he fell off a carport roof and rolled his ankle, so he was the designated driver for the trip!

In the end we all had fun though! Ry could still swim at least and good news is his ankle is all better so next week he can ski his heart out!

River '09

This year for the River was really fun, but unfortunatly my dad was not able to come with us because his boss decided to send him to Boston that same week for training. It just wasn't the same without him :( We still had a blast though and actually did something different! We decided to go the Lewis and Clark Caverns that were just about an hour and a half drive away from our cabin. They were so neat inside!

We also had lots and lots of candy and junk food!

We did lots of four wheeling!

Went to Big Springs and got eaten alive by mosquitos, but fed and saw some large fish!

We saw a lot of wild life!

Also Aiden and Emma's cousins on their other side of the family were able to come up for the weekend during fathers day! They had a blast being with their cousins and it was so fun to see Emma play with her cousin Eva! Sunday night for fathers day we did some fathers day challenges, the first was to see if they could crumble up a peice of newspaper with only one hand into a tight ball! (we read somewhere that it is impossible for a man to do it because they don't use those muscles in their arms) the seconed was the paper bag game where they have to pick up a paper bag that gets smaller and smaller each round with their mouths only and on one foot, the third was a questioner that if they did not answer the right questions about their kids they had to eat a peice of bubble gum, and the last was a dance off! It was so fun!

We can't forgett Brook! This is her favorite place! And she can't stay away from the river!

We went fishing of course!

We had a great time, but still missed my dad! We love you dad!

Update

So I haven't been able to post at all lately because my internet is not working. (All I will say about that is the elderly have no clue about modern technology ;) So I am writing really quick with the computer at school. We just came home from a family vacation with my fam. up at our cabin in Island Park. It was so fun and I have so many pics to post, but will do it when our internet eventually starts working again. Some good info though is that I GOT A JOB! It is with my school! I will be a night instructor starting in September and during the summer I am helping out with administrative duties! I am so excited because I LOVE this school and am so glad that I can stay on with them! Yay!

New Couch!

Yay, so we got a new couch again! and this time it really is new, like brand new! Not used! Ryan and I decided it was time for a nicer (and larger) couch! We wanted to get something that we new was going to last because this is a LONG term investment. It make ALL the difference in the world downstairs! And I think it looks so much nicer too! We can actually have people over now because we have a place for them to sit! It came with an ottoman too, but it was on backorder so we will have it in another week. I always thought I wanted a coffee table instead, but I love to kick my feet up and I am sure Ryan and I will always be fighting over the longer part of the couch!
It was a pain in the but to get inside! As you can see by the pics we had to take out part of the wall again! Thanks so much to my brother Steve-o for helping us! We definitly could not have done it without you! In order to get the old couch out Ryan and Steve-o had to take it appart! They ejoyed taking their aggression of getting the new one in on the old one!
That poor wall, what did it ever do?
The boys deciding to play x-box!

The end result!

We both agreed that we are definitly going to have to buy this house now, because their is NO WAY we are ever going to try to get that couch out of their!
