Well, I guess it is time to quit delaying and let everyone know what has happened. Unfortunately when Ryan and I went for our 12 week ultrasound we were extremely caught off guard and were informed that they could not detect the heartbeat of our baby. They think that it died about 1/2-2 weeks ago. I went to the ER around that same time because I was having some pain in my side, but was assured that the baby was fine. I had to go into surgery and have a D&C since my body did not miscarry. We are both extremely heart broken and want to thank everybody that already knows (and that will know soon) for their love and support they have given us. We really appreciate it!
Love,
Emily and Ryan

To all my pregnant friends!

To all of my friends who are prego and to all my friends who plan on becoming prego, I have found the best DVD for working out! I rented it from the library and am now trying to find a copy to buy for myself because I LOVE IT! It is such and easy workout for all 3 trimesters and doesn't put a lot of strain on the body! If you are trying to keep in shape during your pregnancy (which I highly recommend you do) then definitly invest in this DVD! It is called 10 minute solution Prenatal Pilates!

Update!
Well I have been asked by several people on my blog how have I been feeling! The truth is I have been preety SICK! I need some more tips on how to help morning sickness. The problem is that I am very sick of crackers and need something else besides soda (it gives me major heartburn) to help with my morning sickness. The good news is, is that it isn't as bad as it has been. I think I am starting to get over it. Other than that I have been ok. Ryan and I are both extremely excited! Neither of us cares if the baby is a boy or a girl, but secretly I want a girl, and Ry wants a boy! He keeps on joking saying that maybe we will have both!(now that scares me!)
All I can say to my little angel coming soon is that We love you soo much and can't wait for you to come into the world! You have already been part of our family since the day Ry and I met! We just can't wait to meet you face to face!
Love Mommy and Daddy!

The Weight of the World....

When you wake up in the morning. Whats the first thing you think of, or even notice. That your stupid radio is blazing,BEEP BEEP BEEP!! waaay too early than what oyu think the time SHOULD be, or the sound of the sprinklers watering the lawn, ocassionally hitting the window.
When you get up, realizing that you have to be to work in ten minutes because your alarm didnt go off as you set it, or do you take a moment to say good morning to your better half? Taking time to acknowledging them, asking what they will be doing today? Or is it a mad dash to the bathroom to be the first in line to see "john". Is there fierce competition to get done first. Do you make eye contact at the dryer, trying to find a clean shirt, or scrubs. As if it was a rummage sale. Do you take a moment before the pre launch to join hundreds on the freeway, looking at the watch. Before you do this, do you kneel down together? To take some time out of this mad dash, of life to thank the Lord for all that you have??
I dont know why im writing this today. I find that during the week, Emily and myself only see each other at nights, after the homework, dinner and prep for the next day are complete. The weeks fly by, they REALY do. Im sure this is the case for evryone. And the saying goes, "By the seat of my pants". Heck im not sure if I have pants on during the week. You load yourself with so many things, and through the week, you have headaches, back aches, your eyes hurt, your knees pump with pain.
Life can become SO busy, SO quickly. Take a moment GRAB A TWIX,( I had to throw that in). But seriously, take some time if you havnt to hug the person your married to. Play with your kids, heck even act like one too(Emily can tell you I do). Enjoy life, and remeber to include the Lord in all you do. "when life gets to be more than you can stand, kneel"
