Boise Trip

We went to Boise over Labor day weekend to visit Ryan's sister and her family and to see Maggie's cousin Tyson get blessed! It was a short, but fun little trip!

It was a trip of a lot of first for Maggie! It was her first road trip. Her first time swimming

And her first time in the shower with her daddy!

We also went to a fun park called the Depot and took some family photos


Maggie just LOVES her cousin Leila! She is so sweet to her!

Thanks Em and Ric for inviting us up! We had a blast and can't wait to visit again!

Our poor Chickens!

Our poor chickens were attacked (in their coop) by dogs (no it was not Brook) a couple of weeks ago! All but one survied! We had to put down my favorite chicken becuase it was attacked so badly!I was just sitting down in my apartment when Ryans grandma yelled down to me that an officer needed to talk to me about our chickens. At first I thought we were in trouble or somthing regarding them, but it was only the animal controll officer and he had to get my contact info for when they found the dogs so the owners could pay for any damages.
I am sure all of the chickens would have been dead if our neighbor hadn't had spotted the dogs and pulled them out of the coop! We were very lucky he was their! So now we are on the search for a new chicken to add to the family! And NO we did not eat the chicken we had to put down! (in a way it was kind of a pet, and my favorite of all the chickens! It layed blue eggs!)I think I would have been traumatized if I ate it!
Here you can kind of see where they broke in. They found the one and only weak spot in Ryans design.(No Brooke is not the attacker! She is just sniffing out where the action was)
Poor chickens and there ruffled feathers :(
