The BAT!

So a couple of weeks ago we got a call from Ryan's parents asking if Ry could come over and help with something! Ryan wouldn't tell me what it was, but I was sooo curious I had to come too! It was already about 10pm! When I got their I discovered a bat had flown into their den! My father in-law Mark was working at his computer and noticed something flew over his head and it scared him! He turned around to tell my mother in-law Elaine "good one, you got me!" when he realized she wasn't their! He looked behind his computer and a bat started flapping! So needless to say Ryan came over to help Mark "De-bat" the den! I'm so glad I brought my camera because it was HILARIOUS to watch! Here is Ryan and his dad to the rescue. Notice the fine choice of "socks" Ryan is wearing over his hands for protection! The infamous "bat"! Despite being a bat he really was kind of a cute little guy! The bat was surprisingly mellow. Ryan was able to walk the screen to the door and set it outside for the bat to fly away! (You gotta love the net over his head! It would have been even funnier if the bat actually flew into the net and was caught while it was on his head! Despite the fact he could have gotten rabies)

Ry and his dad decided to scare me and his poor mom who was already terrified of the bat!

More venting!

I HAVE KIDNEY STONES! Arggg.....And their is nothing they can do about it right now. I could have a stent put in, but apparently that can be just as painful as the stones! Right now the best (and I might add only) option for me is to just tough it out!(with the help of safe pain meds) Luckily it is not a huge kidney stone so their is a chance it can pass on its own. I am still trying to decide if that is good or bad. Only two more months of this. I am just going to pretend that pregnancy is getting better at this point!

My first Baby Shower!!

Well as you can now tell, I finally found a cable to upload pictures to our laptop since our pc has broken (we had a card reader with it, it was soo nice). So here is an update from the last month or so of a few things that have gone on (starting with the most recent).

I had my first baby shower for little Maggie! Ryan's Mom and Aunt threw it for me! I just LOVE his family even though I married into the family they still treat me as though I have always been one of the cousins!

Here are a few things that I got!

First off my favorite! Ryan's aunt Jenni made me this quilt!(I repeat she hand made this quilt!) I ABSOLUTELY love it! I don't think I even want Maggie to use it! Maybe I will hang it on the wall or something! But more than likely she will end up using it. Isn't it beautiful!

Ryan's cousin Amanda made this super cute car seat cover!

I got some (I should say Maggie got some) cute little outfits!

And my mother in-law got us our baby monitor!

Ryan's sister Emilee is also pregnant! She is only 3 weeks behind me! She is having a little boy! It will be so fun for Maggie to have a cousin so close in age!

Ryan also has two more cousins who are pregnant as well! Amanda is due in May, I'm due in June, Emilee is due in July, and Breanna is due in August! I had to get a progressive belly shot of all of us!

Thanks everyone for coming and throwing Maggie and I our shower! We had so much fun!

Easter Weekend!

Easter this year was so fun! I loved that it was on conference too! (I absolutely loved conference this year didn't you?!) My sister in-law Emilee came down for the week starting last Saturday (conference Saturday) We spent Easter Sunday with her and her kids and Ryan's extended family at his aunts house! All the kids had a really fun egg hunt! There were sooo many eggs! I can't wait until Maggie gets to participate. Maybe not next year, but the year after for sure!

Our niece Leila filling her basket!

Blake gathering his eggs! Ryan helped to hide the eggs and put them in this Raccoon trap! Yuk! The trap closed behind Blake and he was stuck, but he didn't even realize it until we got him out!

We then went over to my parents for another gut expanding buffet of food! Then my sister in-law Sue and I (and my niece Emma helped too) made these adorable hair clips for our babies!I think my favorite's are the felt and the poppy! I think she is going to have a TON of these clips now!

The next day on Monday (which I have those days off now! It is so nice!) I treated my mother and sister in-laws to free pedicures from my work! (if you ever want a great pedi go to skinscience institute and have some of my students work on you!) Afterwards we went to lunch and had unlimited soup salad and bread sticks from Olive Garden (definitely one of my favorite)
(I don't think this is the best pic of us, but it is the only one I have!) I am soo grateful to have such wonderful and amazing in-laws! I don't think I could have asked for better ones! I feel so lucky especially when I hear of others discussing how much their spouses family bothers them and I think to my self...man I sure feel bad for them, but ha ha! I don't have to worry about that!

All in all it was a great weekend!

Girls Lunch!

A while ago (about a month or so) I met some of my good friends from highschool for lunch! It is always great to see them! My friend Gina and I are due on the same day! She is going to have a little boy! I have already decided that they will marry!

Me, Gina, Shannon, and Melanie (AKA Smells!)
p.s I feel like my hand and arm looks like a plastic doll in this pic!

Aidens Baptism/Mary Anna's Blessing!

My Nephew Aiden turned 8 and was baptized! I can't belive he is already 8! I will never ever forget seeing him for the first time in his little incubator barely longer than a $1 dollar bill! We are all so greatful he is in our family and so proud of him for the decision he mad to get baptised! (For some reason we didn't take any pics of him on his baptism day, but here are some from his b-day party at my parents! My mom and dad got him his scout shirt!)

Also my newest little niece Mary Anna was blessed that same weekend! My sister flew into town to be their for both events! I was sooo happy to see her! I had not seen her for almost a year and a half! Unfortunatly her husband and two girls weren't able to make it :( I wish I could have seen them too, but at least I still got to see her! This is by all means not the best pic of me, but hey I'm prego. I don't really care right now.

My little niece Mary Anna Fitch. I just love her! I know her and Maggie are going to be such great friends!
