Post fail

So my brilliant plan to post backwards didn't work. If you want to make sense of all my post you will have to scroll all the way down to the beginning post of Summer Activites (catch up). Sorry for all the work!

Gunnell Girls weekend!

Finally the weekend after we got all done with the Page family it was a girls only weekend (with my mother in-law Elaine's sisters and nieces)! IT WAS A BLAST! I seriously love getting together with them! All we did was eat laugh and eat! It is so fun to see all of Elaine's sisters together! They are so similar and have such fun personalities. We all chipped in and rented a condo in Midway and stayed for two whole days (no babies allowed)! It was my very first time ever spending a night away from Maggie. At first I didn't know what to do with my self and then quickly forgot all about it! We celebrated Jackie (Elaine's sister) and Jeni's (Elaine's sister in-law)50th birthdays! We had cake and presents the first night! It was hilarious! Jeni's daughter Amanda found these sweet dress suits at the D.I. for them which we made them wear to dinner the next night.

The next day was a free for all to do what we wanted, so the Page girls plus Jodi (Ryan's cousin) headed into park city where we rode the Zip line, the coaster, and the Alpine slide! It was so much fun! I can't wait to go up and especially do the coaster again!

Getting Ready for the coaster! This was my favorite ride up there! You control the speed and are belted in, but the faster you go the more fun and the better (and apparently safer too!)it is. I highly recommend doing it!

The ride up the mountain for the coaster decent was 6 mins long so I played around with my camera. Unfortunately this is what I did the whole time!

Me with Ryans sisters Emilee and Wendy

Wendy getting ready for the Zip line.

That evening we had dinner at a delicious Mexican restaurant! As soon as I remember what it is called I will recommend it to all of you, but I think it is the only one in Midway so that will probably narrow it down! Go there now! They had a salsa bar, and I was in heaven! I love spicy hot salsa and that was pretty much all of them!
The whole gang (minus Wendy who had to work! Poo!)
Me and Ryan's mom Elaine. Thank you so much Elaine for all you did for us Page girls while we were there! You are so generous!

I really needed a fun weekend like that! It was so nice to spend time with just the girls! I am so so grateful for Ryan's family! Since I met them on day one they have ALWAYS treated me like I have been a part of them from the beginning of time! I love you guys so much! Thanks for such a great and unforgettable weekend, and especially thank you for having me be a part of your family! I couldn't have asked for better in-laws!

Mt. Air cabin (2nd half of Page family vacation)

We only went camping and boating for half of the week. The other half we headed up to my family's cabin (we call Mt. Air aka the white cabin). It was nice to have Rob and Wendy (My brother and sister in-law) with us this trip, but very sad to see Ric (my other brother in-law) have to leave back home for work :( It was so nice to just sit and relax and eat delicious meals up there! My sis in-law Emilee made the yummiest pancakes with a cocunut syrup. I still dream and drool over them!

Twin Lakes

The next weekend after the Uinta's we went camping with Ryans family up to our yearly vacation spot at Twin Lakes! I have to say the very first evening up there was pretty MISERABLE! We did not have a rain fly for our tent and it poured all night long! And of course Maggie had to be teething at the same time so she woke up halfway through the night too! The next day Ryan and I ventured into the nearest town (Logan) and went on search for a new tent. There was no way we were going to have another wet and uncomfortable night like the previous one! We couldn't find a tent within our price range that we liked so we settled for a tarp, and of course it didn't rain again so we ended up not even needing it (figures)! Anyways........

The rest of the trip was great! We ended being the only boat on the water for a whole day which of course means water like this the whole time! Ahh......
Go ahead, let your jealousy radiate!
All in all we just had fun skiing, sitting around the campfire (while trying to write things with the flash light) and trying to keep the babies from eating sand!
Maggie loved driving the boat!

I had to show this, this is Ryans Zoolander Blue Steel pose!

(Sorry for all the pictures, but if anyone knows how to put them in a collage please tell me how! I see them on other blogs but can't figure out how to do it!)
This trip was fun!

Most of us stayed in PJ's majority of the day!
My neice Leila was in heaven because she found this butterfly! There were so many of them just floating around up there!
It was nice to feel rested after a busy first half of the week!

24th of July cont.....

The next morning after the Rodeo we got up nice and early an headed for the Uintas with Ryan's parents to visit his Uncle Tom's cabin! (I promise it is not based on the book! lol). It was so beautiful up there! All we did was relax and enjoy nature and some of the fun toys his uncle has up there!

The Cabin

Brooke LOVED the tether ball! She could play with it all by herself!

Maggie loved the tether ball too!

We also had a blast riding the four wheelers around! I still don't know if Mags really liked it or not!

The next day we ventured into the Uintas for some hiking! We went up to Ruth Lake. It is a nice and easy hike, but also extremely beautiful! Ryan took some of the most amazing pictures on the way up!

I highly recommend this hike to everyone! It is only about 2 miles and very easy. Pretty much anyone can do it no matter the shape you are in! We love it and do it just about every time we go up!

24th of July weekend!

We started out our 24th of july weekend at the Ogden Rodeo with our good friends the Woolsey's! It was so fun even though I was terrified that Maggie was going to fall through the bleachers! (There I finally admitted I am a paranoid mother!) However it was still a blast! I think the Ogden Rodeo is going to be a tradition for us every year now!
My little cow girl!

Baby Isacc

Um...snowcones are a MUST at rodeo's!

The Woolsey's!

Thanks so much for coming with us guys! We had a blast!

Summer activites (catch up!)

Man! This summer has been busy busy busy! I am actually really happy it is over. Not that I didn't have fun or anything, but it is just nice to be home for once! Anyways be prepared for a few blog post! I tried to save all my post before actually posting them so that I can post them in a descending order, so hopefully this works and if not I am sure you can figure out which post should follow each one!
