Aquarium

To celebrate Ryan's B-day we went to The Living Planet Aquarium! It was so fun and I was really surprised at how nice it was being that Utah isn't exactly close to the ocean. I have been to a couple of aquariums in San Diego and this still wasn't comparable, however we had a blast and I recommend anyone with kids that haven't been before to go!

Maggie was in awe of all the lights and colors in the tanks!

We saw penguins

Very large fish from the Amazon

A giant tank with sharks and a sea turtle

And we got to pet sting rays!

It was a great way to celebrate Ryans birthday as a family! Loved it!

Easter 2011

Our Easter this year was pretty lazy. I had to work on Saturday...boo! However on Sunday it was so nice! When Maggie woke up we just brought her in our bed with us and stayed lazy for about an hour then I cooked french toast for breakfast and we got ready for church! That is about it! We went to my in-laws sacrament program because they were the narrators and it was so amazing! It was such a spiritual program! Afterwards we went home and tried to take some family pics. The actual family pic did not turn out good (camera timers and baby's don't go hand in hand) however I think the other pics turned out great!
What a sweetie pie!

She is a total Daddy's girl!

Maggie Jane and Grandma Jane.....Love it!

We finished off the evening by heading to my parents for a delicious Easter dinner!

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

BUBBLES!

We blew bubbles on Maggie during her bath! She looks terrified, but really she loved them!

Yay!

Question:

What does this boy and this girl have in common?

Answer: Soon to be the same last name!

That's right! My big bro is getting married! Hooray! We absolutely LOVE Melanie and can't wait to have her be a part of our family!

Congrats you two! Love you both!

Hey Chicka!

Ryan and I decided to start a new tradition every spring conference weekend and this weekend was the first! We got baby chicks! They are so adorable! And we thought it would be such a fun tradition for our kids when they get older! We will even let them pick out there own chicks!

We call this one Elliot aka "blond doctor" (we watch a lot of scrubs...I know lame), and please ignor the badly manicured yellow fingernails!

Raising chickens has really become kind of a hobby for us now. We are going to extend our coop to make room for more (we bought 9 more chicks, but we LOVE the eggs!). We are also going to be selling some as they get a little older so if anyone is in the market for some hens (and a rooster that is for sale now) give us a call!
