Dobbs

The other day Ryan and I went to go see our Friends Natalie and Carlos's new baby colt! She was soo cute! I have never gotten to actually see close a baby colt before, just when I am driving and see them in a field somewhere. The colt doesn't really have an offical name but they have been calling her Dobbs, and I think they should keep calling her that because it is cute! They let me lead her around the field, and I couldn't stop petting her because she was soo soft. It was really nice of them to come and let us see her!

Lasik

BEFORE! AFTER! Thursday Ryan and his sister Emily were finally able to get their lasik eye surgery done! They had what was called PRK where it is a little bit different than regular lasik because they have to scrape part of the eye! Yikes! I am soo glad that Ryan was finally able to get it done. A special thanks goes to his mom and dad who paid for most of it. It was a birthday present for all of their kids (for the rest of thier life)! Here is a video of one of his eyes being done for anyone who is daring enough to watch it. I have only been able to really watch it once because my eyes can't stop watering!

Disney on Ice!

Saturday I went with my sister in-law Sue, my mom and my grandma to Disney on ice featuring all the Princesses for my niece Emma's birthday! Emma was soo cute we took trax to the delta center (I know it is the ES arena but it will always be the delta center to me). She had so much fun riding the trax at least for a little bit, and she came with her wheel chair (she has cerebal palsy). she is soo cute in here little hot pink wheel chair! I tried to take a good picture of her in it, but she kept looking down. She loved the show though especially when Cinderella came in. She got soo excited and started wiggling and waving to her! It was so cute! I really enjoyed the show too (I have to admit I even got a little teary eyed). It brought back such good memories growing up with my grandpa Richards! He always took all the grandchildren this same time of year to see Disney on ice for his B-day! My niece Emma just happens to share the same b-day as him, so I think my sister in-law wants to make it a tradition too. All in all it was a great day! Thanks Sue for inviting me to come! I really had a blast!

Carma

Man, talk about carma. Ryan and I went to go see a movie with some friends (it was august rush and for anybody who hasn't seen it, I highly recommend it. It was an extremely feel good movie!) and we decided to sneak in our own soda and Ryan snuck in his left over sticky fingers(w/ ranch) from Wingers (Ryan wanted to put that in). I mean that is what a womans big purse is for right? Well one of the soda pops lid was not screwed on all the way, and yup, you guessed it. I had a mountain dew soda logged purse. Luckily I had taken my wallet out of my purse to accomodate the two bottles of pop, but unfortunitly my phone is now destroyed. So sorry if nobody can get a hold of me. I am currently unavailable by phone I guess. So I guess carma (as earl would say) is telling me that I shouldn't sneak food into the theater anymore because consequences will arise.

You can't quite tell by this pic, but my purse is drenched! Ohh, it was soo young to. Quite a shame.
